Back in May, the previous owners of Flash Fiction Magazine had to let the site go for personal reasons. Today, I am excited to announce FFM officially is now owned by Shannon (that’s me!) from 101 Words.
I am aware that some of you are fans of both sites, and I believe FFM will be the perfect complement to 101 Words. Many of the authors from 101 Words have requested that we publish longer pieces. FFM will allow us to do just that.
If you are not familiar with 101 Words, we publish 101 word Flash Fiction. We run a monthly contest with some great prizes. This time around, the prize is 6 months of Kindle Unlimited.
101 Words also just started a weekly book giveaway. The next one will be tomorrow if you want to get in on that.
As far as FFM goes—we will still continue to publish the best stories we can get our hands on. In addition to our longer pieces, we are going to start publishing the Three Line Thursday Special Challenge Award.
Three Line Thursday is hosted by Grace Black. Grace is very talented and will be taking on some editing duties here at FFM, along with Les Weil of 101 Words.
As far as the future goes, we have some exciting things planned for 2016 that you are sure to like.
In closing, I am always available via e-mail if you want to chat or have questions: email@example.com
P.S. The site has undergone a lot of technical changes in the last few days. If something seems broken or weird, I would love a heads up.
